SENIORS

How long will my shoot be?
You can choose from three packages: one, two or three hours long. Sometimes I don't take the full amount of time for the session, sometimes I might go over. It all depends on how far away different locations are, how we're connecting, and if I feel I have what I need.

Where will we shoot?
I pride myself on bringing my clients to unique locations. We will stay far, far away from the "popular" places like St. Anthony Main, the Stone Arch Bridge, and the Guthrie. Those places are too easy, especially since that's exactly where I live. However, we will stay in or near Minneapolis, and no more than 20 minutes from my studio loft. I know plenty of urban and nature locations, so it all depends on your mood and style.

How many outfits do I get to bring?
I'm not too picky on the number of outfits, however, please note that the more outfits you bring, the less time to shoot. Typically for an hour long shoot I suggest 1-2 looks, two hours 3-4 looks, and three hours 5-6 looks. This is all dependent on how far away each location is from each other and often times if we get lost in the groove. I do my best to fit in all your looks, but please prioritize your favorites.

How much do you charge?
We start with a session fee for your one, two or three hour shoot. From there, you'll come to my studio in Minneapolis for an in-person gallery reveal and ordering session. I have digital packages that you can choose based off how many images you want to purchase. Based off the most popular package combinations, families can expect to invest around $600-$900 total in senior photos. Contact me for exact pricing.

Do you offer professional hair and makeup?
Heck yeah! I have one main lady I love working with. She does an awesome job of creating a natural, yet beautiful look for all my girls. Cost is $125 for basic hair, makeup and eyelash application.

Do you offer professional styling?
Heck yeah! I understand picking out outfits is stressful- more stressful than one would think. My senior girls pride themselves on their unique style and stray far from the jeans and white t-shirt look. They love shopping at places like Urban Outfitters, Free People, or Madewell.

I always ask to see photos of your outfits beforehand, and offer my opinons, but if you're completely stumped, leave it to my team and I to help pick out the looks that will not only show you in your best light, but also photograph well.

What about rescheduling?
Weather: We're all Minnesotans. We all understand how unpredictable the weather here can be, and so, I try my best to be flexible with the weather. Obviously, it's pouring rain outside, we will reschedule or find an alternative place to shoot inside. I try my best to reschedule within the same week, however, please note that my availability is extremely limited and sometimes will not be able to reschedule until weeks or even months later. Unfortunately, I can't reschedule if it's not sunny outside. I know a lot of people love the sun flare look, but with my limited availability, I just can't reschedule for something like that. Overcast skies actually produce this yummy light anyways, so you're not going to be stuck with dark and depressing photos.

Other reasons: I know you probably have insane schedules with unpredictable volleyball practices and soccer tournaments, however, because of my limited availability, I cannot reschedule because something in your schedule came up. I will not reschedule because you couldn't get your nails painted in time or because your coach scheduled practice that day. Per the contract, there is a $100 rescheduling fee that I will allow if there's no way you can make your original date and time. However, please know that I may not be able to reschedule until weeks or months later. Obviously, if there's a family emergency, this can wait.

Why don't you offer physical products?
Photography is not my full time job, although I hope it can be in the future. Therefore, I don't want to be spending my extra time designing albums and ordering prints. I give you full resolution digital files with printing rights and suggestions for places you can print, and when I say suggestions, I mean strongly, strongly, strongly suggested. They're affordable, online, and yield high quality results. Please don't go to Target, Walmart, Sam's Club or any other place like that to print your photos. You've been warned.

WEDDINGS

Do you travel for weddings?
HECK YEAH! Traveling is what adds a pep to my step and keeps me inspired. I'd love to travel to your destination wedding, and will often give you a discount if it's a destination I've been dying to go to.

Do you take family photos during the day?
Yes, of course! I don't show any of them, but I do shoot them. These are the only images I will allow a shot list for. I will need a list of all family combinations you will want.

Do you offer an engagement session?
Engagements are strongly recommended because it helps us get to know each other as well as puts you at ease for your big day. We'll spend an hour or two running around the city or getting lost in the woods. There will be tons of cuddles, kisses, and hand holding- so brace yourself. Don't worry, I won't be the one cuddling with you.

How many images can I expect from my day?
It's really all dependent on what happens throughout the day. I don't have a maximum quota that I stop at. I give you all the useable images from the day. It can range from 500-800+ images.

Can I have the raw and unedited images?
Nope. Sorry. I've spent way too much time defining my style and craft for naked images to be sent out in the world.

Who is your second shooter?
I don't have a single shooter throughout the season. I have a main girl I shoot with, but if she has her own wedding, I will reach out to my other photographer friends.

When can I expect my final images?
It really depends where I'm in in my season, but I typically say 4-6 weeks after the event date.
